Midway has always been a reputable supplier. Fiocchi has always sold decent (not necessarily the highest-end items) With the shortage. This is a must.

This ammo shortage is a joke. Manufacturers are purposely cutting supply to increase prices. Ammo has gone up almost 100% in price. Ill just hold out until prices start dropping before I stockpile.
Think of it like this. There is no reason for prices to be so high. There is no shortage of the materials they use to manufacture ammo.

Real or manufactured, the end result to the law abiding consumer is the same. For many kinds of ammo, it just can't be had. Period. Just don't wait until you're out of ammo to stock up. That's a serious tactical error.
I read a quote from an ATK (Federal ammo brand) manager who said they didn't want to add factory capacity, because the last time they did during a consumption spike, the demand eventually dropped sharply and they took a bath on having added to their overhead. They're trying to meet demand with existing production capacity, running multiple shifts.
