I thought this was a pretty good price for a decent video card. $40 after 20 dollar rebate at Newegg and free shipping.

I purchased this a few weeks ago from the Egg. It works well and was very easy to install. Most of the reviews at the Egg are excellent. One of the biggest complaints is the size [9 inches long]. If you case can handle it, this card is an excellent mid range performer.

Soar

hmmm.. this card or the 9500GT from Dell for $30 AR?

This card. You can actually play games decently with this.

9600GSO needs a seperate power connection (6-pin) and uses a lot more power than 9500GT.
If you have a lower rated power supply and/or do not have 6-pin connector, then 9500GT would be better.

One can get a power connector which adapts two hard drive connectors into a graphics card 6-pin plug.

This card needs just a tiny bit more power than the 9500. Also, a non-sucky 300W+ power supply would be sufficient for either card.

both the Dell and asus are crippled.

128bit memory for the asus

and slowass ddr2 for the Dell.

but this is definitely worth it for $10 more. It should be slightly faster than a full ddr3 9500GT.

This card has the 96 SPs running on a slower clock DDR3 128-bit memory bus.

This thing kills a 9500GT(8600GTS) 32 SPs DDR3 in gaming like 3X over.

With a 9500 GT DDR2 there is no gaming at all; like integrated graphics.

You can get an MSI HD 4670 1GB DDR3 for $40 AR FS at Newegg and ZZF

right now which is a good bit faster.
