Excellent deal for an excellent player. The sound quality is really one of the best out there, and the portability is great (comes with a clip already on the player).
However, the reliability is quite poor (thats why there are so many refurb deals out there for Sansa in general).
Also, one thing that really bothers me is that if you don't POWER DOWN hold the power silder up for a few seconds until it say goodbye), it doesn't go to sleep and will drain your battery in ~1-2 days. So if you're like me and only use it once every few days (at the gym), you may find out you don't have music to run/exercise to....
There are quite a few message forums out there that discuss these Sansa players in detail. It think the biggest one is run by Sandisk.

It means surplus new items (re-)packed in plain packages, or even regular packages with a sticker on them. There are myriad marketing reasons for this. Sansa continues to be a reliable and a quality brand, the Clip being even more so.

You don't understand: With my previous 6-7 MP3 players, I just press STOP or pause or click a switch and its OFF. I.e. it doesn't drain my battery in less than 2 days. (Yes, drain the battery without any music playing!) I have a C240 and a Fuze and they don't do this.
Also, even if I hold the side power switch for a few seconds to power it down completely, I have to push that same switch in the opposite direction to lock/hold. Otherwise, an accidental flick of the same power switch will unknowingly power-on the MP3 player again... With such a small player, this is easy to do, especially if you wind your headphone cord around the player and then put it in your pocket....

So does mine.
And 2 days later, you still have the same battery life remaining? If yes, I have a bad one. (I did buy a refurb/recertified from Buy.com)... (yes, I have auto-poweroff/sleep enabled)
