Ah, they ARE LSD?? Makes a difference and should be mentioned. It wouldn't be worth it to me to drive over to check if they were only regular NiMHs that may or may not be in stock. LSD NiMHs are another matter though.
Will you be at least getting the spoon yourself, or do you need the OP to get that for you too?

No sweat. I've got a Sears about 100 miles away and will drive over tomorrow--maybe Monday--to check. I'll post when I know.

Just get off your high horse and maybe use a little reason. It makes all the difference in the world to whether it is a deal or not AND is stupid to force everyone to check for themselves when it's so much easier for the OP just to add it in the post like it should have been.

Just got to the Sears. The guy said I was in idiot for driving all that way because it said on the package, "precharged", which is marketing code for low self-discharge NiMH. Said any dope could've figured it out just by looking at the package and reading what it said. While I was there, he looked up this verbiage on the internet:
"Rayovac Hybrid rechargeable batteries come pre-charged and ready to use. This battery technology also takes NiMH rechargeables to a new level. While all batteries self-discharge over time, Rayovac Hybrid NiMH batteries hold their charge better than many traditional NiMH batteries, while not in use. This means that customers can now charge their batteries and know that when they need them, Hybrid batteries will be ready to go without having to go into the charger again. Lasting longer in high-drain devices than regular alkaline, and being able to recharge over and over again mean convenience and value to your customers!"
Boy, is my face red. I'm going to take a little longer than an hour and 15 minutes driving the 100 miles home, but this was important.

Penny wise, pound foolish? You drove ~200 miles. Giving you a liberal 50mpg that means you spent four gallons of fuel. At $2.50/gal, you just spent $10. You could probably find that deal online for about that price or cheaper, without the cost of putting miles to your vehicle.
