no load on cpu but what about internet. i assume you have to send your file to cloud computer for it to scan your files. how long will it takes if i have 1tb hard drive with upload speed of 300kbs = 40KBs

Like all AV programs it uses file hashes, which are very small, not files.

latency i would suspect. AV comparatives shows the cloud based model works decent unless connectivity is broken to the cloud.

As a longtime Fatwalleter, I would have thought you had a few "spam" email addresses you could use. Much like the ones I use for freebies.

I never gave them my email address. Also if the program can't see the cloud it goes into

stand-alone mode.

I've been very happy with the free microsoft security essentials. Very fast and reviews have been good.

Hello,

I signed up for this to install it on my 8 year old son's gaming laptop. This should be one of the best choices for gaming systems where someone would not be stopping the virus scanning service when playing games.
