It is a good deal with free joystick but Amazon.com announced that PS3 slim 250gb $349.99 for pre-order. (3th of November will be launched) I`m confused which one is better :0 So slim one is more quite, efficient and has more HDD space Fat one has Drake fortune game, additional free joystick and almost 35 buck cheaper than slim one. So what do you recommend? Thanks
Don't forget if you apply and use the Playstation Visa card, you get $50 credit, so it would bring this down to $249. I picked up the 80gb for $220ish shipped w/tax, but for $270ish, this is a way better deal. $50 for double the hard drive, Drakes Fortune and a PSN game download, green for you.
Still not seeing the extra free controller in the cart like it showed during the 80GB deal. Should we wait and risk OOS, or go ahead and be prepared to fight Sony CS?

Call Sony to place the order. I remember someone on the post from last week about the $249 80gb saying that the phone CSR had live inventory count of available units. So not only could you get them to add it on, you'd be securing yourself one and avoid a cancellation tomorrow.
Changed my mind. Need one now, and this is the best deal I can find. In for one.

I got mine when the website still said "Free DS controller with purchase". Later on I emailed them to confirm that. Just got reply saying the bundle does include the extra controller though it's not listed separately during check-out. But now that they removed "free controller" text from the listing, not sure if it still holds true.

That is great!
I took a screen capture of the web page before I ordered. It shows the free controller button, so I'll hopefully use it to my advantage if I don't get a 2nd controller.
My PS3 showed up WITHOUT the free DS controller. Several emails and calls have gotten me nowhere. They are offering to RMA the bundle rather than give me the products they advertised. Not cool!

OK, after receiving the bundle, I got the same treatment. Their CS told me they meant free controller with 80GB bundle, it's a typo and they couldn't honor it. Bullshit! I yelled at them in email. Just now they agreed to refund me $30 which I accepted. But shame on them for swindling their customers like this.

They only offered to refund me $15 for the 160GB bundle.
I'll never purchase anything from Sony Style again. What a bunch of crooks.
Anyone know where I can get a Dualshock 3 controller for ~$15?

In the same boat, no second controller and an f-u mail saying that I can return it with a pre-paid label that they send me. And that is the option I took......
