Great deal. In 4 one!

any way to downgrade to Win XP?

Try Winodws 7 RTM, better than WINXP
Look like, it clears out old inventory for new release of Windows 7 in Oct 22, 2009

Could this qualify for a free upgrade to Vista?

GMY said: Could this qualify for a free upgrade to Vista?

it already comes with Vista (Home Basic). If you meant does it qualify for an upgrade to Win7, then no for 2 reasons. Netbook's don't qualify, and those companies who do offer Win7 upgrades aren't offering it on Home Basic.

Thanks. Yes I meant to ask about 7.

I noticed this has the Intel GMA 500 Graphics Controller. I don't think this chip plays HD/BluRay content hardware accelerated like the Nvidia chips...

I bought a blue one using the $30 coupon and just got notification in my email box that I have $15 bing CB.

I have an ASUS 1000HE and will enjoy comparing them.

Thanks OP

OOS for one with windows 7?

NM

I"m about to click submit on the order, except I don't see any bing logo (even though I clicked through from bing).
To those that ordered did you see an bing logo on the order page?

No bing logo on the page, but got the bing confirmation by email.

thx

Which one had Windows 7? Both models I saw were Vista Home Basic.

My superbiiz CashBack always appears faster for me than any other merchant. Not like some other's I'd mention where it seems like pure random chance when it comes. Wish this had come a few days earlier. May not have jumped at the Dell.

Thanks OP!

I am not good in Netbooks, is it a good computer?

BTW, they are charing tax in California. Is this a reliable site?

Another version (with 1GB stick and 160GB HDD) comes with XP, but that's another deal. This deal is only for Vista-equipped computers.

could the BCB be combined with the coupon? anyone confirm this?

Actually, that's not correct. Netbooks are eligible... not this one though because it ships with basic. This deal on the 1410 netbook did qualify because it ships with Vista Home Premium.

How do you confirm that BCB and coupon can be combined?

Looks like blue one is now OOS, but they still have the white one.

They are a California Based business, so by state law, they charge California Sales tax to anyone with a California address. I've ordered from them several times with no problems. I live in California and generally get my items the day after they ship.

I ordered 2 days ago. It's finally in the warehouse for shipping.

Was about to pull the trigger, then noticed tax. They are located in San Jose, California. Boo. Nice post for non-Kalifornia people =]

bing Cash Back will register, but after a few days it might get cancelled due to use of coupon
it happened to me before, and I emailed bing and asked, and was told that using coupons violated ToC.

Blue is back in stock.

Looks like both are out of stock.

Anyone has any luck to upgrade Windows 7, I tried my S/N but it is invalid number.

Which edition of Microsoft Windows Vista® is eligible to upgrade to Windows® 7?
The eligible upgrade paths from Windows Vista® to Windows® 7 are:

Windows Vista® Home Premium > Windows® 7 Home Premium
Windows Vista® Business > Windows® 7 Professional
Windows Vista® Ultimate > Windows® 7 Ultimate.

Vista Basic isn't eligible for free upgrade to 7.

Circuit City has the blue one in stock for $300 minus whatever CB.
