Wow, that is a smoking deal.
Great opportunity to grab some nice/cheap shoes for the kids. They outgrow them so fast, but you hate to have your kids go to a wedding in skateboard shoes with little skulls on them
FYI 6pm.com will not exchange your item: you must return and repurchase if you order the wrong size.

Awesome find OP! I was at the Bass outlet in Mass on Wednesday. They were having a great sale, 50% off all shoes. I was eyeing a pair originally $88, on sale for $44. I didn't get them because they didn't have my size and I declined a special order. I just bought them at 6pm for $14.95.

Thanks OP! Got 2 pairs of Bass boat shoes (no pun intended) for my big-footed son, plus one other brand for my younger son. Not too bad - 3 pairs for $54 shipped.
I don't recall shopping @ 6pm b4. I ordered yesterday morning. Today still shows that order status was recieved, no other progress. The item I ordered now shows OOS. Anyone that may have used them...Do they usually take awhile to ship?. Just because it now shows oos should I ASSume that I won't be getting My order that was in stock and accepted yesteday?
I ordered on 10/19 also and still show as "received". I wouldn't worry about it. The website seems to update stock on a real time basis, so there is no reason to worry about cancellations prematurely.

Sorry that this is a bit OT, but did you have any problems with chafing or anything with them? I look all year for shoes for the summer music festival season, and those might be perfect.
me sad. I thought Bass would be a standard shoe type and safe to order online, but my wife's were incredibly narrow and also short. Have to send back. I'm glad it worked out for others--a great deal if they fit.

6pm is owned by Zappos, and they import sizing reviews from the Zappos website (including reasons for returns). I noticed a lot of the Bass shoes were reported as being half-a-size too small or very narrow. Always good to look at that info before ordering.
Good point, but, unless I'm missing it, that info doesn't seem to be available from 6pm. They only report on the percentage that feels the fit is true, but that doesn't tell you whether those saying "no" think the fit is too big or too small. There are no personal testimonials to get info from, either. Since the shoes are now on 6pm, the info is no longer available on Zappos. I found two reviews on another site and one said the shoe fit true, the other said it was a half-size large, which I find incredible! If I'm missing a place on 6pm where the info is available, it would be a service to everyone for us to know. They have great prices, but once you pay shipping to get the shoe, and then are faced with paying the cost of the shoe to ship it back, it's discouraging (I've told them that). I certainly agree with you that it's always good to try to find some reviews that report on sizing!
