This doesn't come with the power adapter? Who ever heard of an alarm clock that doesn't come with that? That's odd.

Looks like this runs ONLY on batteries, unless you get the 9V adapter... I read it that the (optional) 9V adapter is what lets you plug it into the wall socket...
