Pros: Remington rotary shavers do tend to give a decent close shave, at an affordable price.
Cons: Mediocre overall quality makes this a throw-away - not worth putting heads into it if the unit even lasts that long. Once you've owned even a low-end Norelco, Remington shavers don't compare.. and there are $30 deals on Norelcos on a regular basis.
So you get what you pay for. This would especially be good for someone who has considered trying a rotary (beyond the return period) at a modest investment.
I have used both Norelco and Remington, and Remington is much better. Norelco is just riding on its reputation. Remington blades spin at a higher RPM, so you finish shaving faster. The quality is about equal on both. I wouldn't buy another Norelco after using Remington. This is a good deal, and I would buy one if I needed it. But.... I can't find it on the Remington or Amazon web sites (always nice to read a review to make sure this particular model doesn't have bad reviews.) I wonder if it's been discontinued or if it's brand new?
