Went to Walmart In Valley Stream NY this morning to get Transformers 2 IMAX Edition Blu-Ray and it was only $13.00. The Clerk told me it was an unadvertised special but wouldnt tell me how long the price was valid for. I didnt have it, But you could use the $3.00 Papa Johns Coupon to get it for just $10.00!! How do you know WalMart is selling IMAX version? I did not find any information on the packaging stated "IMAX" Just have a 2 discs big screen edition" on a blue WalMart sticker
I am a huge transformers fan, back from the 80s, and this movie was terrible.
On another note, I wouldn't be surprised if the blu-ray will be available for somewhere around $9.99 during black friday. I got Transformers 1 for $9.99 last year on black friday from Amazon. We are at the point now where anything over $10 can be considered not cheap.
Lol, I ordered a Papa John's pizza a couple days ago and threw the coupon away - never planned on buying this. I went by the Papa John's at 11am this morning when they opened and asked them for a coupon. I didn't realize that what he gave me wasn't actually a coupon, just a flyer... Grr...
Anyway, got it for $13, and picked up the lunch meat for the rebate. Couldn't find the breaded chicken stuff. Strange rebates...
Also, walked the clearance isles and came home with $450 in clearance items. YIKES!!! The cashiers asked if I was doing early Christmas shopping. I said no, just came to pick up this dvd...

To all of you who were able to get in on the deal , Im happy, and to those who missed out on this one, no biggie because BF is right around the corner with plenty of incredible deals that we can all sink our hard-earned money into. After reading all the posts here its pretty obvious that this deal was either completly random or only in certain markets. Either way, enjoy the movie!
Overstock.com has the Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen Blu-ray (with $10 Overstock.com Gift Card) for $18.99 plus $2.95 shipping. It is the 2-Disc Special Edition, not the Imax version.

I guess people are using "IMAX" as the shorted, condensed way of saying BIG SCREEN version (which is exclusive to WalMart)...but my understanding is that they are one in same. And for those that do not know what Big Screen version or "IMAX" version means, it is simply a wide screen movie without the black bars on the top and bottom (full screen in wides screen format).
