For those that need only the most basic computer and do not need a monitor, this might be an OK deal. It has no monitor, only 2 gigs of RAM, Basic OS, No Wireless Card. By the time you upgrade everything to reasonable specs your cost is about $774.00. Not that hot.

add a 2.2GHz Core 2 Duo processor: $90
add for Vista home premium (upgrade to Windows 7): $30
add WiFi G: $70 ($150 for N)

Total: $490 (or $570 for wireless N). Price for a brand new Mac Mini (released today!), which includes nVidia graphics, bluetooth, dual screen support, Wifi N and actual software (iLife): $599. I don't think there should even be a question which to pick (unless you just hate Apple and love Windows).
