They are all pretty good deals, if you like one of the listed fragrances. At one point Sephora would let you use the GC for any fragrance at the same price point, but apparently they've gotten a lot stricter about making you stick to one of the selections in the sampler.

edit: Found a few more ... these are straight-up samplers and do NOT INCLUDE A GIFT CARD. But there are some really good deals here.

This men's set is $20 (marked down from $40) and does NOT include the GC for a full-sized one.

This mascara sampler has 11 mini-mascaras in it for $39.

Short answer: The size of the full-size fragrance varies.

Long answer: Each product page has a question-and-answer link (toward the bottom, on the right-hand side) and usually somewhere in those questions is a listing of the bottles from which you can choose. Generally, you're choosing from bottles that retail from $45-56ish.

Reading the reviews reminded me that some stores don't carry all scents (I hadn't thought of this because my Sephora is really huge, but there are scattered complaints in reviews that the scent they selected was not in stock.) You are not allowed to "buy up" to get the next-biggest-size bottle either, which his a bummer because for most fragrances, the larger-size bottle is a much better value.

The other caveat is that the certificate must be redeemed in-store.

So keep that in mind as well, especially if you're considering this as a gift for someone in the hinterlands. There is a store listing on the site, so you might want to make sure they have access to a Sephora before you buy. AFAIK, the certificate cannot be redeemed at Sephoras located inside JCPenney stores - they are exempt from most deals.
