Please note that the deadline is coming fast for the AT&T GoPhone rewards program.
I received the following text message from AT&T:AT&T Free Msg: Pay As You Go Rewards program will end on 10/27/09. Any refill made on or before 10/27/09 will continue to be eligible for bonuses.
If you are close to needing a GoPhone refill, you may want to consider adding $100 to get a $10 bonus before 10/27/09. I needed $50 to get the next bonus, but since I would never use the balance before it expired in 3 months, I decided to go for the $100 refill that would last me for a year.
You can get a $100 refill code from ephonecard.com with your choice of discount codes: 8% off code EVERYDAY or 10% off code ATTCOUPON or 10% off (formally 12%) code ATTCOUPON88
I have used ephonecard.com in the past for $25 refills without problems aside from needing to wait a few hours when codes were out of stock. They also have $50 refills.
You can do even better "tripple dipping" on eBay.com with FatWallet cb, eBay bucks, and bing cb as disussed in other threads.
I think that would make a good Daily Deal on eBay, but I'm starting to feel like I'm the only one around spending less that $80/month for a phone/data plan. However, I do delight in pulling out my phone when others are bragging about what they can do with their phone and telling them that I pay less than $7/month for mine.
cardxs said: The old plan is still showing up. Did they discontinue the $1 day / 10 cent minute? I see a $3 unlimited calling plan which I've never seen before.
They still have the same plans, but they discontinued their rewards program. Before it ended, you would get an additional $10 of air time after you have added $100 to you account.
I was about $50 away from getting another bonus, so I decided to go for a $100 refill that can last up to a year.
