HAHA, I am proud of myself, because I also find this freebie from CNET news, SAVE $29.95. http://news.cnet.com/8301-13845_3-10378872-58.html?tag=mncol
About this news, I want to say…
There is a DVD-authoring tool named WinX DVD Author. Actually, I was using the DVD ripper from same developer which is free to get it through CNET news too. WinX DVD Ripper Platinum finished my work very well. So I think it is a good news for me, downloaded WinX DVD Author to test immediately, try it for three times, good. Remain it on my computer and save $29.95. But the giveaway of WinX DVD Author just until Oct. 31. In other words, if you also like it, download it before Oct. 31.

You edited your reply and it's still incomprehensible?
I had it to read it three times to get "I used this deal, I liked it"

I had it to read it three times to get "I used this deal, I liked it" thanks grammar police - you couldn't have just left it alone and ignored his post? GROW UP! (I know, this sure is the pot calling the kettle black but the lack of respect on this forum has gotten my panties in a bunch lately)

I'd respect it more if I could understand the point trying to be made, but YMMV.
OK so I'm guessing that English may be a second language for the one in Red and I wonder how many languages the other posters have mastered... (oh and BTW, Idiot is not a language no matter how fluent you are)

I just simply choose not to wear panties!
And... thanks for the post OP. I need to convert some SWF files, hopefully this will help me out. Or, does anyone have any good suggestions for converting SWF to DVD?

"WinX Video Converter Platinum is a perfect video software solution for converting all types of videos between each other. ..."
boooo, requires trial pay!
Ok, I figured what happened. The download page offers two choices, you either click one of the links that say "WinX Video Converter Platinum Download Site 1" or Site 2 on the left, or the red "get it for free" button on the right. The links immediately start download. The button takes you to the trial pay thing. Link or button, your choice. I guess this is why the button is red.

Can you download this now and install after 10/31, or does it need to be installed and registered before 10/31?

Author Ripper Converter
Any one used these before and willing to post a review? What would be other software names competing in the same category?
I like handbrake for the converter. I'm partial to opensource so I guess that is why. Be sure to hop to the forums and get the current CVS build as it's much better. It appears to be stable for a CVS snapshot, but again it's development code so if you end up in Saw 19 it's not my fault.
Note: The stable version converts to many more formats than the CVS. With the CVS version you are looking at H.264/MPEG4 in mp4 or mkv containers. There are presets, including ones for Apple devices to help.

Is this a full-functional download? I gave a try to convert a video clip from FLV to VOB. Only 13 minutes and 10 seconds was converted. Are there any switches to remove this limit?
