Call your local Costco for inventory before rushing over. I stocked up on a few cases at my Costco in South San Francisco during lunch, today. If you buy 8 or more cases in CA, you'll have to fill out some paperwork.

Hey OP - this deal is highly YMMV depending on the state in which the Costco resides, so you may want to update your title to reflect this.
This is due to both the alcohol regulations within each state as well as the region of the country (i.e Dogfish Head can be found at Costco's in the East but not West, while Rogue can be found in the West and not the East).

good point, i thought the YMMV clause was good enough, but you are right with regards to the lack of emphasis. I will edit accordingly
None in Manhattan Beach. They didn't even have regular Sierra Nevada. Didn't feel like leaving empty handed though, so I picked up a variety case of the Kirkland beer (Gordon Biersch) for $18. The guy at the exit did a great job of marking my thumb instead of the receipt. BTW I'm not a Costco member.

I worked at sam's for 2.5 years, this is true. If you are walking into Sam's and they want to see your membership (and you know you have it, and don't want to have to show it) you can just say "I'm only purchasing alcohol." that way they'll just let you in and not bother you.
