Power supplies at pcpartsohio.com. First found out about these guys from a FW post on Gateway cases they were selling cheap, and have bought from them several times since. They sell mainly system pulls for components AFAICT, but everything I've gotten has been top notch w/ no evidence of use. Their power supplies are a very good deal. I have bought mainly the 400W ones, but the price on their 700W models have dropped to $25 each, or $22 each for qty 3+ so I recently bought a few (second order of 700W units). S/H is reasonable, esp. if you buy several.

The low down on the 700W model:

- They advertise Delta or Bestec, but every one I've received has been a Delta DPS-700FB-1A or -1E. Following info based on that model.
- Quad 12V rails rated at 18A, 16A, 18A, 18A with a 50A max total for 12V (600W)
- 3.3V @24A, 5V @ 24A, combined 3.3 and 5 max at 140W
- 24-pin MB power
- 8-pin EPS CPU power plug. Cable is somewhat short, about 9.5". If that's not long enough you can buy an extension like this. If your MB is 4-pin this might fit if there are no MB components blocking the extra 4 pins on the cable -- YMMV. Otherwise use an adapter cable.
- (2) 6-pin PCIe
- 3 molex 4-pin, 1 floppy, 5 SATA, cables nylon sheathed
- No AC power cord, just the power supply

These were Gateway OEM for their higher end systems. Despite the single fan they're pretty quiet. One oddity is that these have a minimum power load limit. If your system does not draw enough power immediately at boot-up the PS shuts down via a relay. Found this out the hard way when using with a board that had on-board graphics. After some research I found the problem and put a cheap ATI 4350 card in and voila, it worked. If you're buying a 700W PS that's probably not a problem because you probably have a discrete video card, but just wanted to put it out there. Also they are deeper than your average PS, just over 7" (see pics).

The 400W PS is also a good deal for a solid quiet PS. Potential problem with these is the 30-day warranty only, but that's more than offset by the low price IMHO, esp. for that 700W model.

Fair warning, looks like the 700 aren't very efficient:

Efficiency > 68%

You may save in initial purchase but if you're powering a PC for much of the day, you may pay for it in your electric bill. Consider 80+ rated power supplies or better if this is your application.

This still looks like a decent find for occasional use PCs.

I can confirm the specs table posted there as coming from Delta. That's about the only specs I could find other than the label on the PS. Couldn't find any detailed reviews or test results unfortunately.

Here is the Gateway support page for these. Better pics, but sparce on specs.
