When you buy the family pack (3 licenses) of Windows 7 at Newegg for $149.99, you can also get a Kaspersky lab ANTI-VIRUS 2010 3 Users - Retail.

So, you basically get 3 licenses for the Kaspersky AV, which is one of the best, for an extra $10.

The Kaspersky deal should show up as a combo deal when you go the Win 7 Family Pack page.

As pointed out, the Family Pack is an upgrade.

A family pack already clarified it as an upgrade. They're not selling 3pks of full installations and calling it anything special besides "full price".
