Come on down to Bally’s, where you could be the next contestant on The Price is Right Live! America’s longest running game show is right here in Las Vegas, and anyone in its audience has a chance to play classic games for cash and fabulous prizes. This live, audience-staged version of The Price is Right has all the excitement of the original, including the Showcase, the Big Wheel, the gorgeous game show models – and oh yes, a brand new car!
Nice money maker for the casino. AVG 250 people per show (~$15K in revenue) Give 50-people some cheezy prizes T-Shirts etc. and pocket the difference.
There is a showcase showdown at the end, with a couple decent prizes, but you have to be withing $100 of the stated value to win. It is not whoever is closest. Wonder if they have ever given away the grand prize.
If you really, really, really love the show it is a nice diversion... if you think you are going to win (if you get picked) fuggittaboutit

And it's a bargain when you consider the tightness of the Bally's slots. The show is 90 minutes and you can burn through $40 in about 20 minutes on a penny video slot playing minimums.
(you're better off going to the connected Paris casino, but all the Harrah's property are tighter on slots than anyone else on the strip, and everyone else on the strip is tight to begin with).

Remember, no Drew Carey either. The host is the guy who hosted "Whammy" on GSN and was on E!, can't remember his name right now.
