I just bought one but it was soo tough to order that I almost gave up. I had forgotten my password apparantly so I followed instructions to have instructions and link sent to me to reset it. The link wasn't sent to me so I follow online instructions again, start chatting with a CS rep who is completely unhelpful, after waiting to chat with her for a few minutes she promptly tells me I have to call even though the instructions led me to chat with her. When I point out these facts she send me a link which lands at a page not found and essentially tells me she can't help me. So after callign and waiting on hold I give up and crate a new account to order. Finally looks like I am about to finish and after entering payment info and submitting the order I get a message that says the item 8gb Transcend SDHC was removed from my cart becasue it's either out of stock or I am shipping to an APO..well I was not shipping to an APO so I guess it was out of stock after all I went through to place the order...So I ended up ordering the 16 GB Card instead..after the ordering experience I had I am hoping the shipping and delivery goes better

Poor service is quite rare for Newegg, which has a reputation for having among the very best service of any online retailer of any sort, so I can't say your experience is at all representative of what one would encounter. I also think your post has little relevance to this deal thread anyway.
Great price on this card! Now if there was only something with a similar price for a micro! lol I have looked at all the major online players and a 16GB microSDHC Class 6 is still too much. Maybe prices will come down before Christmas.
I got the same card, 8 months ago for $36 shipped and that was the regular price @ Buy.com, so it not that much of a great deal.
Infact most vendors then had it for $36 - $42 range. I needed one badly before my travel and so got it then. Though, I must say, I am pleased by the speed. It has been extremely reliable.
I would assume the prices will get over the holidays.. but who knows ...
I just looked up the price on Buy.com and it is 36+2shipping. Can't believe the price didn't drop at all and went up a couple bucks!! crazy considering memory prices ALWAYS fall over time..

I mostly agree with you. I bought a canon digital from them. It had a problem and I was able to return it. I did have to pay for return shipping though which is not cool in my league. That's where Amazon is the best.
