I've been following this model and it just dropped from ~$260.

Buy it here

Review here
** Note this is the NON-BLUETOOTH model; otherwise it is the same as the 765T

So why did you give red itsme13?

I'd like to know too. It's the lowest price I've seen. Am I missing something?

Well.... green from me. Thanks crash369 for your post.

The price on this has been dropping a few dollars every day. You can usually get a price adjustment if you bought it from Amazon in the past 30 days. Thanks OP, I might buy one soon. If you wait until Nov 1st, you'll have until Jan 31st to return it if you don't like it.

The refurb 765T is still $200 at Newegg, FYI.

I thought Amazon got rid of price guarantees awhile ago.

the T means traffic I believe. Do you have to pay for it? I see that some models say lifetime traffic

price update. $226.36

No. Did you try looking on garmin.com? See here. The T models come with free lifetime traffic provided by Navteq.

You are right: http://consumerist.com/5044911/amazon-ends-post+order-price-guarantee

I've looked and the Amazon FAQ still has stuff about price guarantee. Maybe it's back?

Just dropped to $206.99. Best deal yet.

I can't seem to find it anymore. I guess they finally took it down.

The Nuvi 755 has many features I like for a reasonable price. I am very interested in the ability to announce a change in the speed limit or tell me if I am speeding. The instructions state you may see the speed limit on the map, but say nothing about notification. Does anyone familiar with the 755 know if there is a notification for the speed limit? TIA

Costco has it for $199.99, you can buy it at the store to avoid shipping charges. here

From: "Amazon.com Customer Service"

I'm sure it's disappointing to see the lower price on the [what] you recently purchased. Our prices regularly change, and the price you paid when your order shipped was the lowest price we were able to offer at the time.

We consistently offer competitive prices on everything we carry because we know low prices are very important to our customers. You can visit our pricing policies in our Help pages to read more:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=46850...

If you prefer, you may return the item for a refund.

Although prices fluctuate, our service does not. I hope you'll give us another opportunity to serve you in the future. Our online Returns Center guides you through the process and gives you a printable return mailing label.

But Amazon has no tax.

Exactly. And I'm not sure who'd be paying shipping charges outside of those that need it quickly.

In for one at $206.xx!

On Black Friday, Costco has this model for 199.99, but still a good price if you don't have a membership or just for a regular deal.

I noticed that the newer ones (1490T, 1690) don't have 3D Building View, which the 7x5T does. For what that's worth.
Also the 1490T doesn't have Garmin Locate. And the 1690 doesn't have the FM traffic receiver, instead using the nuLink service for traffic (which is "only" free for 2 years).
