Found the Shark Steam Pocket Mop Cleaner at Costco for just $95. This is $25 less than standard retail price. Even $6 less than Sear's recent Columbus Day Weekend sale for the same mop. Please note this is also the updated version of the Shark steam mop which comes with the double-sided head and extra pads. Tried it on kitchen floor and works great to get grim from the dog out.

No offense, but right now you can get the same mop at Kohls for $119.99 - 20% coupon, - $10 Kohls cash =$86 + tax or possibly $81 + tax w/$4 filler(you'd get $20 Kohls cash instead of $10)

Hi, yea that's true but other members might shop at costco (which many do almost every week) and pick it up anyway since they have a good return policy and they are already in the store. plus many can get Cash Back from costco as well. $10 Kohls cash just makes you have to buy more at Kohls... which many users do not.

Don't want to poo poo this deal, but I was about ready to pull the trigger on this when I went into research mode. You can get the MUCH better Haan or Eureka equivalent for the same price or less. After much reading, it's pretty clear the Shark is expensive (for its performance), and performs poorly compared to others in its class. Primarily, the steam temperature is only 110º coming out of this one (which shocked me). That's like hot shower water...maybe. Both Haan and Eureka get above 210º, which is where you need to be if you really want to clean and sanitize something.

Did some research on Haan products--did not get good reviews. Will check out Eureka, though.

Wonder what your source on steam temperature is, as I read all the manuals for the Shark, Eureka, Haan, etc. and none of them ever specify the temperature. Water boils at 212, so I would assume all of them would have to be at least that temerature?

I bought the Shark steam pocket mop at Costco and is a green color and not the purple I'm used to. Anyone know why the different color?

Color change is a well-known side effect of double posting!

Yeah, it's a nuetral color that most people can get. Instead of the feminine purple that I would have at my bachelor pad. LOL

Here's what I got from the chat, there's a detailed review on Amazon by someone that says 110 deg.?

Asha: Thank you for contacting Shark, how may I assist you today?
Jim: Hi Asha, Can you tell me what temperature the steam leaves the shark at? I looking to buy the model sold at costco, so I'm not positive on the model number.
Asha: Shark is the brand, and not the name of the unit Depending on which shark unit you are referring to, our steam cleaners produce 220 degrees of heat.
Jim: Yes, so I'm looking at the pocket mop. What temp would that be?
