REI is offering one free hot wax for your skis or snowboard if you have an REI membership. Hot waxes usually cost about $7-$15 depending on where you go. The deal is good from 10/19/09 - 11/15/09
Thanks OP! I became a member over 10 years ago...maybe shop there once a year, but the membership just keeps on delivering rewards like this every now and then.
I just got mine done yesterday! Quick (about 10 min wait), cheap (free!) and easy. Thanks again OP!
When I was there, they just took down my name and membership code into a notebook (ie not computerized). Tempted to go to another REI and my other pair waxed too... but I kinda feel bad since I like REI.

I actually am doing a full tuneup at a discounted price. Full tune is pretty extensive and includes a base sanding and restructuring, edge tuneup, etc.
All the "additional" tuneups are 15 bucks off. because of that, the light tune is only 5 bucks, while the full tune was only 25 (vs 40)
