If you pair these with a good amp that has an automatic sound EQ/leveling system (e.g. most mid+ level Denon receivers) you will be impressed at how good these sound.
I bought a set of these a while back (in cherry) during one of these sales online. They are great rear speakers for my setup (don't quite have the sound quality of my vintage Pioneers but that's why they are in the back)
