What is the best deal to get Netflix streaming? Searched Hot Deals, Deal Discussion and Expired deals, and could not find anything. There is one in the Travel Discussion forum for 2500 Aadvantage miles with signup - http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/travel-discussion/952412/m14221477/#m14221477. Thread claims it expired Oct 15, but promotion sign-up page is still online, with no expiration date shown.
Got a Samsung BD-P1600, and now I can't stand to use Netflix on my 360 anymore. Navigating movies via the Samsung is so much better, and it's silent. Pandora support is awesome as well. Can this Insignia do Pandora?
So far so good, Netflix streaming quality at 3MB/s DSL is as good as DVD. The only problem with this player is that does not decode DTS and DTS HD but if your receiver has the decoder this should not be an issue

I picked this up on Friday with the coupon from the last thread and so far it seems like a nice player, especially for the money. The remote is pretty inaccurate but I set up my Harmony so it's not really an issue. It's a fast player and the picture and sound look great. I might even jump from Blockbuster to Netflix because of this, heh.
Been using the wireless version of this player for Netflix and love it. The quality is a bit blocky with my 1.5 mb connection at times but that may just be the content as some comes in at 480p quality. I have tried some HD and it does fair wit maybe a little better than 480p quality. For $9 a month it's a great buy to have the Netflix package.
excuse my ignorance, but how does this compare to the Roku box if I dont need a blueray player? also, can you have multiple boxes for the same Netflix subscription?
Roku has Wi-Fi and allows to stream from Amazon PPV

In for 1. Thanks OP! Had everything up and running in 10 minutes or so. I bought the $9.99 Geek Squad warranty in case this thing goes TU. Happy so far.

Roku is easier to use and better quality picture - customer reviews speak for themselves. I'd look into the New HD-XR model Roku - better wireless capability, and a USB port for who knows what -- but it would seem to make sense that it will handle a mass storage device like a removable hard drive. All in one media box with no need for a clunky home theatre PC.
We have had the wired version for a couple of weeks, and quite pleased so far. The upconverted Netflix video is quite watchable, but definitely NOT 1080p, nor 5.1 audio. With 3 mbps ATT DSL, we have watched more than 10 hours of video without a glitch. The only negative is that the movies are not the most current, but with over 100k to choose from, we had little dificulty loading 24 in to our queue.

When browing Netflix instant movies, browse the "HD" genre. Netflix is adding more of its "recently added" titles in HD format...eventually all titles will be available in this format.
If you have a connection of 5mbps+, then you'll have 1080i quality like I do on my HDTV...and yes, the video/audio is amazing (like watching Dish Network HD channels).
