Not sure this a local or regional deal. It was advertised as $0.99 for a pack of eight Kodak Xtralife AA/AAA, or a pack of four C/D or two 9V batteries. The in-store (Staten Island, NY) price was $0.50 for a pack of eight Kodak Xtralife AA/AAA, or a pack of four C/D or two 9V batteries. AA and AAA are alkaline and expire in 2016. Eveready gold AA/AAA alkaline batteries were on-sale at the same price. This is the best price I have seen on alkaline batteries. The price is effective for a week from today.
