Note: I do not know the gauge of these cables. Anyone?

Can the signal even go that far?

I purchased a 75' cable from Monoprice and it worked fine.

eforcity needs to be upfront with the fact that these are thin 28AWG cables. You need at least 24AWG to go that far, and preferably 22AWG. Even then, you may need a repeater which is the price of the cable.

just like Monster Cables ...

(my opinion)

Don't know if I'd call it hype; electrical signals will diminish with resistance; the larger the gauge, the lower the resistance.

I decided to take a gamble on them anyway. I'll be using them with an active HDMI switch, which should give something of a boost.

smw said: ... electrical signals will diminish with resistance...50 feet 22 AWG = 0.8 OHMS

50 feet 24 AWG = 1.3 OHMS

50 feet 28 AWG = 3.5 OHMS

but it's digital .. not affected much by resistance

unless used for speaker wire ...

The coupon code you have entered has expired. I'm gonna try these out - the get good reviews, but does anyone here object to the deal?
