Good deal if these are genuine. Some reviews suggest that they are fakes. If one were going to make something fake, shouldn't he/she fake something more valuable?

Oral-B brushheads have been cheaper on eBay. I paid around $1.25-$1.50 for each brushhead depending whether buying a 4-pack or 8-pack. They are usually made for european markets and seemed to be genuine (not that I care as long as they worked as expected .

I prefer the Dual Clean Replacement Brush Heads (3 ct) which are 12.15 with free shipping:

Safer too, since it's sold by Amazon rather than a marketplace seller. So they should be genuine.

I like the more compact brush head though, so will have to wait for Amazon to sell it themselves for a good price.

Careful with those on eBay or unknown sources. I had a 4 pack of these that seems to not be counterfeit copies but I don't know for sure but packaging looks legit. They have not been lasting but 2 weeks each as the heads become so loose that it'll pinch your lip or tongue and one even had a small pin fall out inside my mouth. I just sent them a email about it along with the UPC code to see if its counterfeit or just a bad batch and lack of quality control on their part.

Also mine on the box had English, German and Spanish language on it.

Agreed. Just got 24 brushes for $26.49. Sharing with friends since I don't need that many. Same model number, came in two-packs. Seem fine, fit well. If they are counterfeit, it's a pretty good copy.

Where did you get that deal?

so - !? - anyone received theirs! - genuine ?!

I'd be skeptical that these are genuine or origally intended for the "gray market" (diverted from intended destination without warranty). Counterfeit products can damage your gums and fall apart, etc. Before a crackdown in NYC, the top counterfeit products being sold on Canal St. other that "designer" handbags, were "Duracell" batteries that claimed to be made in Belgium and "Kodak" film. Huge profits from small price points.

I always buy compatible products, if they are substantially (25+%) cheaper than the OEM product. Ink cartridges, toothbrushes, prescription drugs.. etc. Haven't had any issue so far with any of the things I tried. Except for Gillette Mach3 blades I bought on eBay. Those blades are likely counterfeit, though you can not tell from the packaging. As for Oral-B bought on eBay, they performed as well as the ones I paid 4 times as much at Costco. I do not think, the technology is that complicated, that only P&G could make the perfect ones.

On a side note, Target is selling compatible brushheads - 3 Pack for $15 or $16. Barely cheaper than Oral-B brand prices at Target and more expensive than the cost at Costco. Guess, hard to let go the profit margins. I'll wait until WalMart starts selling them much cheaper....

I bought Oral-B rechargeable brushes too on eBay for a third of the retail cost + shipping. They seem to be perfectly genuine. Manufacturing cost for a lot of such products is only a small fraction of the retail cost. Most likely these product are priced near the manufacturing cost in the other countries. The research / patents costs are all likely borne by US consumers.

So, willing to buy the gray market product. If once in a while you may get a counterfeit product, so be it.

I bought a bunch of these brushheads (dozens) on eBay and was absolutely taken (the packaging did look very good-German). The counterfeit heads don't show wear on the blue bristles after wear and they pinch the lip (ouch). I also noticed that the braun name on the brush itself can be scraped off with a fingernail and you can't do that on the authentic brushes. Just an FYI. I am not saying these on Amazon are counterfeit, only that counterfeit are out there and buyer beware.

I don't trust my gums and teeth to the unknown bristle quality on fake brushheads (far worse than compatible brushheads that aren't trying to pose as genuine), even if the savings were significant. But you save so little it's not even worth considering IMHO.

Where did you get that deal?
On eBay. Search for "oral b brush heads" You'll find listings for various quantities.

If anything, they look like they have older style bristles, like what our toothbrushes originally came with. I've noticed the newer brush heads you get at retail stores have different colored bristles. Might just be old stock that got dumped.
