They are white, nice.
Had a buyer ask if I had such, said no, then checked them out, got him 2 non auction.
Listed 2 on auction and they sold to the same buyer in 1/2 hour.
They must be good.

Does any1 know whether it has HDMI port? Thanks in advance! - nevermind, found it in the title.

No body is interested in your eBay or any other business OR how much you buy from Staples OR how much profit you make.
Please don't post if you nothing positive contributing to the thread.

I was adding, the item is very popular,
I think it is the fact that is is white.
The previous model
HP dv4-1430us in White +Cam&Mic +Windows7

Was a hot mover also.

Even the FAR d4360 if a good resell item.

Interested in a laptop for my son - I'd like him to have it for college, he wants it to also be able to play games - is this a good one, as far as speed, graphics, etc for gamers? As a non-gamer, I have NO idea. Please, I'm not interested in info on resale or how fast the item moves on eBay. Just interested in learning about this laptop for gamers. TIA.

Are you sure he would be ok with a WHITE pc.

that's a good question. Actually, he's generally not too concerned with the looks of those sorts of things. My daughter is the one who would freak out with a white laptop - hers HAD TO BE black. I will ask him, though. thx!

These also come in black and esspresso

at Amazon, much more money.
Their white is also $100 more than Staples.

iPods, iphones, and many tech items are white...

i think white is very sleek/modern and not really a feminine color anymore...

Nice, but the T6600 processor does not support virtualization.

When you buy the laptop you are given a booklet with coupons to use on that purchase.( or later)
There is a $40 off on any HP printer $69.98 or more when bought with a pc.
that printer d4360 comes with a FAR rebate....
All stack as does the 10% off coupon, $7 off the printer before the instant coupon,
making the printer way better than FREE.
You are paid $47 to take it away.....

The d4360 FAR is not mentioned anywhere except in the rebate section
search there for it, but it does print out with the purchase
printer sku 740301
rebate id 09-11320

No, this is not a gaming laptop. The video card embedded on it shares memory with the system and can't play most modern games. Here is a link to a good review of the card:

Hope this helps

Please do not speak for everybody. I am interested in how much in goes for on eBay and how quickly is goes. I don't sell items i get through here on eBay but I do like to use it as a representive of how popular. This lets me know how quickly items might sell out and whether they migth have future resale value.

yesidonoitall's posts are not out of line or bragging to me. FW is community and some people are helped by eBay related posts.

BTW, Your snippy comment about not adding anything positive added less to this thread then his original did.

yesidonoitall -

I did not understand how you can make $47 and get the printer. Can you please explain step by step. My local Staples is out of stock on this but expects some to come tomorrow..if they do I will buy in store and if not then order online on Staples (via FW of course). How do I get the $40, the $7 and the free after rebate (mail in I assume?)?.

Look at the receipt I posted.
$69.98 Out the door.
There is a printable 10% off coupon when you look at this weeks ad on line. That is $7 off
When you buy a laptop, you get a coupon book, to use on that purchase, there is a coupon for $40 off an HP printer $69.98 or more.
Then there is a $70 easy rebate (online) on the printer.
After all is said and rebate received, they paid you $47.00

To that I add the proceeds from:
I sell the ink for $26.00 and the power supply for $15 (minus auction and postage costs) Then I have the prionter to use as a $50 tradein when appropriate.

where is the rebate for the printer? is it only for that one specific printer or is it for any printer? kuz the online store checker says it's a clearance item and there's low stock in basically all stores.

During the online rebate process you can change it to a cehck.

The rebate is for that printer. D4360
They have been calling it a clearance item for some time, then off again, now on again
I got 6 of the DV4-1540's today and 6 printers.

The same book of coupons given also has $60 instant discount on an HP wireless printer.

wow- thanks. I am going to try this. BTW: Should I not use the 10% off printable online coupon on the laptop itself (worth $55 then)?

ak4net said: wow- thanks. I am going to try this. BTW: Should I not use the 10% off printable online coupon on the laptop itself (worth $55 then)?

It excludes pc's

Thanks all! Picked it up yesterday with the printer discount. Lots of confusion with the coupon book, but finally got it done. Traded in an old laptop too, that they didnt even bother turning on.

does anyone think it is worth it to buy the windows 7 / windows 7 pro with the coupon discount and try to flip them?

If you got in early on the upgrade, then resell was good.
Now, not so good.
I figure I will have to sit on what I have left for 2 or so months (once the glut of them are off eBay)

BUT, for the $70 or $100 off you had to have on the same receipt as the pc buy (as the offer reads)
of course a manager should be able to offer it later with his override powers. (If he sees you recently bought a pc)

FYI

The 2 printer coupons can be used if you buy 2 printers.
The $40 off and the $60 off

The salesperson I got was smart....he did not allow the $40 off or the 10% off on the printer, since he knew there was a FAR on it. In other words he knew about stacking and disallowed it...so I returned with the laptop and the printer (which will "just" be free after rebate)...I guess you have to be lucky to be able to stack the coupons...weird though..the rules ought to be same everywhere..

That makes no sense.
They hawk the fact you get the coupon book when you buy a pc.
The online ad hawks the 10% off which has no disclaimer of not being useable with other coupons.
The SALESPERSON is not a policy decider.

My hat's off! Spirit of a real FW'er!
