This looks like a good deal, but I don't know anything about mice. Reviews point to this as one of the best on the market. Can anyone offer advise or experiences. Either way, good find OP.

This is a really good mouse in my opinion. But can be "big" for some hands

Best mouse I've ever used, and I've used a bunch.

It's significantly smaller than its predecessor. I like the size.

before 3 months, i got for 40$ from bestbuy .... and now addicted to it. perfect in use. combine it with quicksilver program and using in iTunes.

Wish they could include a nano receiver with it . A hard carrying case would be great too. I'm tired of the little teeny notebook mice.. would love to use this instead (already have it for the dsktop, and like it quite a bit).

A great mouse, but it's like 2 years old now....

Agreed, best mouse ever. My battery has lasted almost two years now and still going strong.

Pairs well with Logitech S510 keyboard.

Its a great mouse but I'm holding off for the MX performance mouse. It seems better, don't know how much better.

I have this and the left clicker is busted. Dropped it a few times. I keep knocking my mouses off my keyboard arm. Double clicks when I click once, had to swap mouse buttons on the windows profile. My primary mouse button is now the right mouse button. I never did save the recipt so I can't get a replacement.

yeah, but most stores are still selling it for $50+, including Amazon

$117.99 w/ free shipping at Amazon and the cheapest third party seller I could find was about $90 shipped.

Been the same price for the last 1 year at Best buy. No big deal!

That part I agree with. Logitech should be including nano receivers with all its high end mice going forward.

Is that B&M only? I cannot find it on their website.

Well, I bought it 1.5-2 years ago on sale at Staples for this same price.

I can say Logitech's warranty service is absolutely great. I had a VX revolution fail after two years (probably from dropping it on hardwood floor) and replacement was simple and free.

I got mine for $35. It was a refurb, but it's the best mouse I've ever had.

is it good for gaming

By far, the best mouse I have ever used or owned and I have used and owned many.

Ergonomics are incomparable with any other mouse.

Comfort is unbelievable.

I purchased the MX Rev. 7 several months ago and wish I had got one much sooner.

When doing my research before the purchase, there were 3 main complaints:

1. Charging mechanism was a little challenging [It is true. But once you understand the correct attachment angle, it is a total breeze].

2. The inside wheel gave some people trouble will gaming [I am not sure about this because I use only the most simple of the buttons].

3. Logitech's software was not so good...[People all over the world downloaded the 3rd party software called "uberOptions" and they stated in their reviews that it made all the difference in the world].

My personal opinion:

I have never tried anything even remotely close to the MX Rev 7's ergonomics, comfort, space age looks, and incredible array of options for set up.

You may want to wait until the price drops again...I bought it for $24 with a $20 gift card when Best Buy had the fantastic deal on it.

Finally, I encourage anyone seriously considering this mouse to read several of the unbias reviews at Newegg [74% gave it between 4 and 5 eggs, hence it is an Eggcellent mouse]!

PS I posted lots of pics and info on this mouse on a previous Fatwallet forum. You can find it all here:

PSS I found this lastest review very accurate and encouraging:

Pros: Simply put this is the best mouse I've ever used. It is very comfortable. It has at least 6 extra buttons that are very conveniently placed. The precision on this mouse is great. With a bit of software this mouse makes the best companion to ANY task on the computer (see other thoughts). While the free scrolling wheel is cool and sometimes useful this is not the major selling point for me, it's comfort, buttons, and usability are. Although this mouse can be pretty pricey depending on where and when you get it, it is well worth the money.

Cons: Takes a little bit of software tweaking to get a middle mouse button (a must for me), but this is not enough to keep you away. See Other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: The best part about this mouse is the software you can use with it. Logitech Setpoint comes with the mouse and you can also download it free from their website. Setpoint is handy but not all that useful, UNLESS you install an amazing little addon callled "uber." This software allows you to map ANY button on the mouse to ANY keyboard key, mouse stroke, program action, web action, media function, etc. This is a must have for this mouse and makes it's usability incredible. The software can even change the key mappings based on the program open. This mouse + uber is a must.
