i was looking for a arcade style joystick to play street fighter 4 with and this looks to be a pretty good price for a dual stick. the reviews are excellent for this stick. I would have bought one if they would ship. this item is for pick up only.

X-Arcade Dual Joystick

You might want to note "Fry's" and "B&M only" in the title.

Welcome to FW!

Out of stock? Or just not honoring the deal?

It's interesting that this deal is being posted at this time. I have had my X-Arcade stick for years and I love it for classic ROMs and fighting games. Unfortunately Microsoft never granted X-arcade the license to distribute 360 hardware as a third-party vendor. I considered ditching this controller since it wasn't being supported. So X-arcade just announced a work-around adapter that requires a wired controller and an x-arcade PS2 adapter to utilize this stick on the 360. You can buy the kit online here. The kit should also be shipping to store early November. So 360 users rejoice in being able to use an awesome controller on your current consoles!

Oh and this price is hot! I think I originally picked up my solo controller for this price. The dual controller used to retail for $149! I believe this arcade stick is much better than the Hori or Mad Katz fighting sticks for the price!

Frys online inventory checker has been borked for DFW all morning (have been trying to check on a printer) and this item reflects the same "system error" info... so he's got no way of knowing unless he got up and drove to the store and had them check stock everywhere.... which may still not work anyway.

it's a matter of preference between the sticks. xarcade uses happ parts which is more likely to have a circle gate while the others tend to have sanwa which has a square gate. square gates makes the dragon punch motion very easy to execute without accidentally throwing out a fireball or super.

That seems like a great deal...FYI, it has pinball buttons on the side for playing your $12 Pinball Hall of Fame

Update...HMMMMM...no adapter? Additional adapter 15 bucks...

Great price... I paid $99 on an X-Arcade web clearance back in '06...

will this work for ps3 or do i need to buy something additional?

I'm pretty sure if you wanted to use this on a PS3, you need to mod it. Try googling: Cthulhu PCB

Does this work for the Xbox 360, or is there an adapter out there?

Anyone have any good links for building a mame machine. I've got an old P4 computer that I just put back together (1.6Ghz OC'd to 2.13Ghz, lol).

It says on the Product page that it works with PS3.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, there is a work-around provided by X-arcade. It requires using a wired Xbox 360 controller, a PS2 adapter made by x-arcade, and a special y-adapter they created.

the ps3 has a lot more compatibility with usb/pc controllers than the 360. probably will work out of the box.

Thank you, I think this is a great project to take on.
