This is an outstanding TV. I have the 47" version that I bought as a refurb off of eBay and it was basically brand new and works great.
I would assume there's some kind of warranty from philips if it's being sold through Buy.com. Just call Buy.com, there's a phone number on that page to order and I'm sure they can tell you the info.
Squaretrade has the best prices for warranties on reburps - search hot deals forums for coupon codes - piece of mind if you are concerned.

Buy.com returns policy doesn't allow oversized TV's (27" or larger) to be returned "at all". They refer you to the mfr. I emailed Philips customer service asking about the warranty on purchasing this particular TV from Buy.com and got a quick reply stating any refurbished/reconditioned TV has a 90 day mfr's warranty from the date of purchase.

Newegg has this TV *new* (not a refurb) for 699. Paypal is giving 15% off with the code 15OFFPHILIPS. Total comes to 644.08 shipped to So Cal. IMHO this is a great Monitor/TV I've had the 52" for over six months and I think it is fantastic.
