I saw this on SD but also checked in my Lowes...

I just purchased Lowes' Char-Broil Commercial Series gas grill (item number 296450), with 680 square inches of cooking space, for 75% off from $299 to $74.75.
Item #: 296450 Model: 463247009

This is B&M ONLY. They had 5 available at my local Lowes. After purchasing mine, I checked online and lowes.com claimed to have had no inventory at my local store for this item and it also reflected the full price online for my store. So lowes.com will not be a useful tool to check your local store.

They had a few other grills with small discounts, but this is the only one for 75% off

Yes i checked n if repost please delet..

Super price! Paid $89 for a smaller model 6 mos. ago. Dagnabbit!

Can you tell a city or general location where you found this? Being from NC, I doubt they would be clearancing grills now, its 80 today...however if you are in Buffalo, they might also clearance this item in New England...thanks

It's like 10 degrees here, why would I need a grill?? I won't even buy it for $5

Many people grill in the winter. From Minnesota to Alaska. I guess you're just not up to it?

you will buy it to use it when it is 100 F ...welcome to FW

and it was in chicago..

FYI this price is ONLY marked down at 1 location in Chicago, so huge YMMV. Everyone has been reporting $249 at their location, and only 1 person has been successful in pricematching.

no go here in MN

Hey Azygous, just wanted to know which exact store has it so i can get the price matched.
REally want this grill

"It's like 10 degrees here, why would I need a grill?? I won't even buy it for $5"

Huh? Winter is the absolute best time for gas grills. Just turn it on, no heat issues no matter how cold.

The OP at SD said that it was the 8411 S. Holland Rd location in Chicago.

I recommend you bring it inside with you--heat the house while you cook. Small rooms are better. Good luck.

You don't have the mindset of someone who's looking to save money. Buy it now, and store it until the spring which is only 6 months away. It ain't food, it won't expire in your garage

$249 at the Alexandria, VA store

Nice deal if you can get it. Unfortunately, not carried in my local store.

guy on sd said he got the last one in chicago couple hours ago

The guy in Irvine, CA laughed. They did have one left at $299 and he said he would offer $50 discount since it is last season's model. He would not entertain matching other stores.

I grill year round. Even when it's below zero you can step out and flip a steak. That's why it's nice to have a gas grill--it turns on and off easily.

I've had good luck getting Lowe's to PM other stores' prices. If OP can post a scanned receipt then they can always check to verify that that price is accurate.. Ive had them PM more than 200$ lower than their price on an item..

lived in utah for years, you can grill in the cold or while it is snowing, no problem
living in seattle, very tough while raining, drops the temp of the grill way down.

grill looks like a good deal, if you think it is too cold to 'cue, then become a vegan.

I've gotta give this a shot. Need to look this one up!Thanks!
I'll be grilling in the middle of the ice storm this year too!

And contrary to popular belief, you don't necessarily have to light it.

Interactive LINK for this item.

I live in florida. Grilling season is winter.

When I lived in ny, we would brush the snow off the grill and start cooking.

went @ littleton in Denver... the hippy made me ask him 10 times to rescan the price tag for current price ($249.99).... 4 burner hotttt if you can get on this!

Curious has anyone else got this deal? No go in Vancouver Wa. $249.99 here

Was wondering if anyone is finding these out in FW Land? If so please list what store.

stopped in my Lowes this morning in Rochester, NY. All grills still full price.

Damn...still worth a shot! I'm checking my local lowes later today.
Even if no one else gets this deal it's still a pleasant daydream. Thanks op.

Stopped by my Lowes and yes they have one (website said zero) but it is @ $250. There was a hint that they would PM if I had a receipt.
Anyone have a receipt they would like to share?

I dont have mine with me rt now..

there are 2 on SD, this is one of them...

Bad news...the Chicago and GA stores are now saying the price is $249. Deal might be dead unless we find more stores that have the $74,xx price.

Toughen up! Grill will work below zero.

Was at Lincolnwood, IL store looking for a dishwasher, but asked about the grill. I was told "there's no way in he-- we're going to match that price even if it was clearanced at another store even with a receipt showing the $74 dollar price". I was told it was priced at the 95th street location. They had 2 in stock though at $249.

Still rang up at $299 at the one in Vancouver, WA.

Great deal if you can get it. The grill might even last two (2) season here in Florida ... where it never seems to get cold anymore.

how do you get the 75% off? is there a code to enter online at lowes.com? thx

I hope people know not to do this for real because you will die. I use the grill when it's snowing or raining but I do have a Patio that it's on. Nothing compares to a steak from the grill.

Skipping 2 Messages...

No go in Montgomerry-PA, the guy would not give me the display grill at that price. Good luck to others.
