I've also seen them in store at that price, yellow tagged. Obviously, this product was not as hot as many had expected, but it'll still do remote slingboxing and operate as a basic media player. Reviews are mixed.
Thanks, OP. I got one just so that I don't have to hardwire my laptop (vga and hdmi) to the tv everytime i want to watch a movie on TV from the computer. I doubt if I'll ever use it to watch hulu or watch streaming video from slingbox.
Wish I used the 10% coupon. I've been testing slingcatcher and slingprojector for the past a few weeks, and I'm glad I bought it. I use tv-computer connection often for downloaded videos, and although I won't get as clear picture as the VGA cable, it's close enough.
When watching a movie with friends, I'd use VGA cable, but when just watching tv shows alone, slingcatcher is the easiest, simplest way to go.
