Nice! Thanks for the heads up. I'm definitely gonna order some phones. A lot of them are old so people may not want them, but I wouldn't mind a couple of "oldie but goodie" phones that they have

Nice Find. I found a very basic phone for $19.99 for my son to add to the family plan with not contract.

Anyone notice this: "This Clearance product may have been one of a group of display items. Although many appear to be New-In-Box, any given item may have cosmetic blemishes, been slightly used or may be missing small, inconsequential pieces. All open-box/display items contain instruction manuals and any accessories necessary for routine operation and come with the standard manufacturer's warranty (generally one-year) unless specifically stated otherwise. "
So are these new or used/demo?

What makes you think there is no contract involved? my goof "This is a new phone, and requires either new or existing service with T-Mobile. This phone is ideal for those who wish to upgrade, replace or change their current phones without changing the terms of their existing service agreements, or for those who wish to subscribe to T-Mobile as new subscriber. T-Mobile phones operate with a SIM card, allowing you to change easily from one handset to another.

Looks that way: from the T-Mobile website description of the product:
Band (frequency): 850 MHz;900 MHz;1800 MHz;1900 MHz
BTW, it's $49 at the TMobile website with a 2-year activation, just for comparison. Link

I think most of the blackberrys and even some of the $19.99 motos are quad-band. The $19.99 Motorola V188 and V195 are quad-band, but will need to be unlocked if you need to use them with another carrier...

best features/reviews? these micro-usb charged? self unlocked ?
thanks OP. am debating getting a UMA or wifi phone as our new house has ZERO T-Mobile signal and I have T-Mobile @home and I have a year left on my contract. i see the samsung t409 at $50 shipped is probably the cheapest one, then the 8820 for $110 shipped and then the 8820 for $160 shipped... choices...

Decent deal. Pretty good if you need one. This is the going price on eBay/Craigslist but you get BRAND NEW phones from a reputable store. Too bad I have no money

My wife has the V195. It charges via USB. Decent phone - good battery life, strong signal. Not easy to unlock though - try eBay for unlocking.

Mine is on the way.
I have been waiting for a wifi quad band phone for a reasonable amount. Thanks OP.
How exacty did they ship these things? It'd be nice if they stated the carrier and method with their shipment notification email.. I'm assuming USPS but nothing gets pulled up on their website with the tracking number they gave.
TravisB said: If i took this BB phone would I need to pay data fees/ blackB service fees to make it work?
My brother got this phone last year when it first came out. He was able to get without adding a BB data plan and it worked with the $5.99 T-Zones (no longer available). It works just if you just want to use it a phone or with wifi.
availability of this phone on the ritz website comes and goes, so keep checking...
meanwhile, anybody can chime in which one is better - the flip 8220 or the candy bar 8100? I have an E71 and I am looking for a inexpensive, no string attached BB as backup.
After I placed the order for the BB 8220 phone for $99.99 with $9.95 ground shipping minus $3.00 discount (CJRCLC coupon) and expected 5% bing discount (plus 1-3% chase freedom CashBack) on Thursday, I received an email from RitzCamera that my credit card had some "problem". I called today in morning the credit card company and they told me that there is no problem (and from what I see in the difference of my credit card activity and credit limit remaining, the charge is pending). I also called RitzCamera afterwards and I was told that everything was fine.
Tonight I received another email saying that there is some credit card problem. I called RitzCamera and the CSR told me that I would have to use another credit card or cancel the order and re-order. The item now is out of stock and I was afraid that using another credit card would invalidate the bing CashBack and I would probably lose some extra chase freedom CashBack. When I asked if the reason they want to cancel my order is because the item is out of stock, the CSR closed the phone without saying a word! I called again, and another CSR took the call (this time I was left waiting 10 times as much as I waited on the previous call) asked me to give another credit card. I did and he told me that everything was now fine. I then asked if the amount charged is the same $106.94 that was charged before. He told me yes, but then mentioned that I was charged $113 something, for the TWO items I ordered! I said that I ordered only one cell phone and I read the receipt I had from before. Then he said that I have 2 days shipping (not mentioning anything about the two items anymore). I told him that was not correct, then he asked me to be placed on hold again (3rd or 4th time). After coming back, he let me know that my new credit card was declined! And asked me to call back on Monday.
I do not know what the deal is here, but to me it seems that they have sold more cell phones that they have on stock and they are trying to get the best price out of each of them, overcharging or not honoring the coupons/discounts/cashbacks and canceling the less profitable orders on excuses of rejected credit cards. What a shame...
Hope others have better experiences than mine.

The same thing happened to me. They called me and said something was wrong with my paypal acount. They also emailed me. i called them back with another credit card. The next day they emailed me and said something with wrong with my payment again.
Bought a MOTOROLA V195 PHONE for $20 plus shipping and received it today. Sealed box so it is a new phone. I received 3% off with coupon but was denied 5% bing because of using coupon. I am still happy with the phone. It is charging and will be used tomorrow. Thanks OP
