Went to Staples tonight and they had the this backup drive on Clearance for $60

Not sure if its just this store, or nationwide. They only had one left so I snagged it. I dont see it listed on their website anymore, so obviously your mileage will vary.

No biggy if you dont find one, not worth much effort to find one, when 500gb ones come and go pretty regularly for only about $10 more.

I got the 2TB version for this price at Target about 1 month ago.

Where was that target? I knew of a 1TB deal but missed the 2TB...

They had at least one of these left as of Wed, at this price at the one in Woodbury MN. *Note* that the passport series doesn't require a power supply & has a laptop drive inside. I believe this model is an IDE. Kudo's to livinn59801 for the 2tb drive deal, but I think they are comparing apples to oranges.

Best Buy has 250GB, 320GB and 500GB on clearance, too. Price is about the same, BB is a few bucks cheaper. Good thing is you can order online and pick-up.

250 GB is $55.99 and 320 is $67.99 on BB site. I didn't see the 500 GB on-line so YMMV. It was $97.99??? in-store at the Orange, CA location yesterday.

Missoula, Montana. Apparently others found them, because there was a thread on here regarding such. They were 50%.

Newegg has a similar deal, $59.99 + free shipping. Not tax in some states. Better than YMMV too.

If you can find it by Oct 31st, use the 10% off coupon and the deal is a bit sweeter.
