The Panasonic TC-P42X1 720P 42" Plasma is back on sale at Dell for $529 + tax with Free Shipping. Not as good as a few weeks ago but still probably the best bang for the buck TV in this size.

Link at Dell

Don't forget FW CashBack for $16 or Bing CB to save an additional $26.

I bought it from Sears for 550.00

Good price, great set.

Or do what I did the last time around, and get it from US Appliance using their price match. This saves you the sales tax from Dell. $527 with free shipping.

Picked this up last time it went on sale, but from Amazon - $480 shipped. Great set, great picture -- replaced a 32" Aquos LCD.

Stunning quality, and event he audio is pretty good. If you're in the market, buy this and don't look back. Far superior to two LCD 1080p 120's that I tried out separately.

I thought they didn't make 720 anymore ? So these are still left overs or did i miss it and they are still being made?

stop hating on 720. this tv is great. paid 899 for this tv when it first hit the market early this year. its a great tv with good speakers to boot. definitely agree with the op this is the best value tv on the market at 550 or less.

Does one need to purchase extended warranty on this TV?

Anyone know any coupon codes I can combine with this?

I can't figure out if this has a coaxial input for watching regular cable tv without a cable box.

Yes the TV has a coax input, it has a ATSC/NTSC/QAM tuner.

I have the TV, it does.

I went though the Dell 5% Bing Cash Back link, though after putting in my email address and then going though the whole checkout process, I didn't see anything else about the Cash Back and no email yet. Was there supposed to be some sorta confirmation?
