I'm not sure what you mean by double dipping. However, there's a good chance that this will also qualify for the $20 Norton Utilities competitive upgrade rebate. That rebate can be found here (search for rebate offer # 09-72361). There should be a Proof of Purchase tab in the Norton Utilities box.

For Bundle Purchases, there will be only one Proof of Purchase, which needs to be submitted for the NIS Upgrade Rebate. However, we can submit copies of both the UPC and Proof of Purchase. No doubt it will be invalid initially so we need to call the customer service to validate the rebate. There are chances that it will be validated successfully, as i did them in the past

Sill waiting for FAR. Now that they're selling IS 2010 (and hence it's a new rebate compared to the rebate for the IS2009 bundle), you can do 3 new rebates (yeah, you can ignore the "limit 1 per household" warning).
There's no reason to purchase software like this. You can find countless utilities on the Internet that accomplish the same things. For example, Microsoft Security Essentials provides real-time virus and spyware protection. Save your money for something else.

I just got an email from Symantec today saying the $20 Norton Utilities rebate is valid: "Your rebate is valid and is scheduled for final processing." Woo hoo.
