Sorry, I just don't see it. You could get an AppleTV or XBMC for about the same price and manage more than just music on more than just 80GB. Seems like they're hoping a dead cat will bounce.

No offense to you OP and I'll even green you because for some rare person that wants something just for music, this is certainly a price comedown.

I'd say this is so apple to orange if you compare this set to AppleTV or XMBC stuff, both the center and the station are stand-alone units that does not rely on external display (like TV), ready to turn on and play. A decent wifi capable internet radio like Asus AIR will cost you ~$100 and this set comes in two and has much more.

A fair comparision of this is probably a Logitech squeezebox radio, which runs above $200.


In for one, will report back on its abilities and quality.
