They've been doing this for at least a few months at our Carmike theater. About time...$6 for crappy popcorn and $5 for a soda is just plain greedy IMO.

Thanks OP! Bought tix for Tuesday with visa by one get one Fandango offer and combined with this offer will be a reasonable costing visit to the movies with my son.

it's a decent price, but Carmike really sucks bad. THey charge $1 for refills now (on other days), where I live, the theater is super old (non stadium), and the arm rest broke off my chair while watching a movie, and my arm came down hard on a sharp piece of metal underneath the armrest.

They one day, someone stole their salt shaker and they replaced it with nasty actii yellow colored salt, and HAVE NOT GONE BACK SINCE!

Carmike blows!
