These are pretty good, but have a fair amount of fat and a lot of sodium.

Thanks OP. Some of these seem like they would make for an interesting stew/chili base...just add some chunk chicken, beef, etc.

I also got an error message after hitting the final "Checkout Now" button.

I bought the the Butter Chicken Curry the last time Amazon had it on sale. I'll admit it was very tasty, but be aware that it has a strong odor, that lingers for a long time. It took three days for the curry smell to leave my kitchen (and I have a decent vent system over my cooktop). Consequently my wife has banned me from using the mix again.

I've given away all but one from the box away to friends (with the proper warning about the lingering curry smell).

Same experience here. I have the chicken curry mix (not butter chicken) and it takes a long time for the smell to clear out. No problems with the palak paneer though.

Try the ones that have beans or lentils. They have less of fat and sodium and are generally healthier. In my opinion, their milder taste also makes them more suitable for regular use compared to some of the others.

Also, this kind of discount does come up occasionally. Last month, most of them were 45% off: link.

You could always aff extra rice and some bread naan bread on the side.
They sell that at the grocery stores here

Also if it is high in salt, rice will make it abit healthier and more filling if for 2 ppl.

If you want to get rid of strong oudors in the kitchen leave used coffee grounds out, that also works well int he fridge to get rid of strong garlic smells i have had from restaurant foods...

or beeswax candles are supposed to help get rid of oudors.
I also have a lampe berger and lamp that burns scent and alcohol and gets rid of all odour in an hour or 2.
Amazon sells those and they are around $30 for the cheapest one, but they really work.
I have the mint one as I hate floral smells and my place smells very "fresh".

Our local Chinese market in North Phoenix has such packs for $1 each after BOGO (MTR brand).... Check yours...

MTR is garbage-ola. No comparison between the two.

Not sure if this is because of age but some brands are too much gassy for me.

You need to add ginger to this in any form; fresh, paste, or powder.
