The opening of a new store (and overpriced at that) is hardly slick. Nice quality, but rarely if ever any great deals at Stew Leonards.
Buying their prepared foods is comparable in price to eating at a restaurant.

I know that most of us do a lot better with coupons at other stores and I agree the grocery items are somewhat overpriced there, but I go there almost every week to stock up on things that I have no coupons for, like milk, meat, fish and chicken (from their weekly specials, of course) not only it's cheap, it's fresh. Lobsters for $3.99 a lb, Porterhouse steaks and Skirt steaks for $3.99 a lb, aren't those great prices?
BTW, they are not opening a new store, they are celebrating their 40th anniversary.
