Great emergency device at $60 less than it currently sells for elsewhere. link
Cut & Paste description: The Eton Voicelink FR1000 does more than just keep you informed in an emergency - its built-in 2-way personal communication system helps you stay in touch with others. The Voicelink can send and receive messages with another FR1000 (sold separately) through 1 of 22 General Mobile Radio System or Family Radio System channels that you select. A voice-operated transmission option lets you talk handsfree.
You can power up the radio's rechargeable battery pack with less than 2 minutes of cranking, so the FR1000's ready when you need it. An analog tuner pulls in all 7 NOAA weather bands as well as AM and FM signals. It also receives NOAA alerts to keep you posted on changing weather situations.
The Voicelink features 3 bright white LED lights that serve as a built-in flashlight. There's also a flashing red LED light and emergency siren to alert others to your location.
