I've never ordered from ArtsCow before. How is their quality and customer service? How easy is their web site to use (compared to Shutterfly or Snapfish)?

Two words: SLOW & INEXPENSIVE. Last time the fatwallet effect hit them hard and quite a few of us ordering pic dog ID tags and playing cards ended up waiting for months...Not a bad deal for me personally, and I didn't mind the wait time. Maybe they got better in terms of shipping?! Good quality.
I've ordered several before. I think the quality is very good. However, you can't personalize the dates and add birthdays - but that's a blessing! sometimes I try to do too much with these photo products and they become way too time consuming. It will take 3 weeks to receive after ordering.
I ordered several times from Artscow but the last time I ordered, they cropped the pictures so bad and then blamed it on me and they sent a copy of my order (through email) and said thats what I ordered. They screen captures their cropped version of my order. I then did a sample order and it clearly showed that it wasn't what I was seeing on my end and their CS got kinda rude about it when I asked for the pictures that I ordered to be sent rather than the error cropped pictures. I emailed them a captre of what I saw on my end before they cropped them. I guess it's a hit and miss deal with them as they do so many orders they don't really put an effort into quality control. I'll still use them from time to time.
I ordered a calendar last year and the quality was much higher than I expected, especially since I used some lower-res pics that I had downloaded from Picasa.
I ordered two calendars. I have purchased a number of things from Artscow and always been very satisified. I know going into the transaction the product will take several weeks to reach me. My calendars shipped and artscow just sent me a message saying there was a problem with the quality and they are reprinting and reshipping. I appreciate their taking care of the quality problem, but it will probably be a month from the original order until I receive the calendars. Just wanted to let you guys know.
LoLz, true there, compfan03! I got the email also, after my order had shipped. I just received the original shipment today.... the print quality is quite nice, but um.... yeah... definitely a problem. The images are upside down. I'm very glad they're already aware of the problem and I'll be getting my order reprinted, but yeah, is a bit of a pain to say the least. Hoping they get here (correctly printed!) before January!
