*Bump*

how do you get proof of employment?

That's what I wanna know!!!!

Thanks OP. Got confirmation from my order last week, will be here today. No proof of employment needed. They sent an email saying it was processed and number of rep. Didn't hear anything else so I called rep who confirmed shipment went out last week. Never verified SSN or employment. To sum it up, it works.

No problem! My friend just received her working blackberry on Friday through this deal and has had no problems.

How long do these deals last?
When I looked into activating a Pre, the best offer I got was Everything Data Plan 450 for $50/month for the first 2 years, and $70/month after that.
I'm not willing to nearly double my monthly cost for Sprint (I'm on SERO 500, at $30/month), just to upgrade from my Treo to a Pre, so I decided to skip it.
You need to get to Retention in order to get that deal.

This is a good deal, but it says it's only for Enterprise employees. Do they check? I'd hate for them to boot me to their regular plans when the EPP is only $4 a month more. The phones are $25 less through this link than through EPP as well, it seems. Tempting...

Read the posts in this thread.

Why are people giving OP red? Try it, the worst that happens is they ask for proof of employment. Otherwise it's a win when it works, which is does. And phones are cheaper via site than sprint's regular site. Phones can be had cheaper via Wirefly though. Again it worked for me, and phones will be here tomorrow.

How can you buy the phone from wirefly and get this plan price?

It does ask for a work e mail address. What did you guys who have done it put??

I put in my gmail address. The only problem has been shipping. UPS didn't have correct address. Should be there when I get home hopefully.

Thats awesome. I am very tempted to switch over at the end of the month. Let me know if there are any more success stories! =]

This all makes me very happy to stumble on this website.

Mhotep, What did you order? If I may ask.

activation fee! lame. ($26.00 per line, $36.00 for the first line)

I actually called sprint today.

They said they do verify employment with some tool. (said the guy with an American name and Indian accent)

I'm assuming its with the credit check.

I think I'm going to go with LINKKK.

Only four dollars more... and no risk or activation fee!

But insurance on my hero... I don't know...

I got my phones and activated them but when I asked the customer care, they didn't mention anything about the EPP discount. I logged in online and it doesn't reflect the discount either. I think I may have to cancel and start over with the other thread with the VP of Sprint's Strategy. What a pain in the ass. sigh.

I have 25% off with my employer.
I had to give s special number, my employer address, an e-mail address(if available) and whom my boss was.
a work around would be to say you do not have an e-mail address, your a floor worker or maintenance person at the company and your boss is Joe schmoe from Acapulco and you found out about the discount from the company bulletin board
but the hassle for 4 bucks and to be caught (unsure what the ramifications would be)

Maybe Sprint is different, but the "I don't have an e-mail" never ends up working. I've tried with Verizon and T-Mobile in the past. The thing is, I've even legitimately qualified for the discount (it was advertised in our corporate benefits) and, because both my e-mail address and pay check have a different name (we're a fully owned subsidiary), I haven't been allowed. Employee discounts can be so frustrating...

Got my phones this week. For those still asking. do not call Sprint, Rule number one about these deals is not to call! This only alerts them and they can then close the deal! My email confirmation list my monthly plan rate of 103 and the discount for the phone price. Again thanks OP, if anyone doubts just try it and if it works which it will just thank the OP. If you don't want to try then don't. No one verified anything with me. My email is gmail so no way to verify with employer.

Okay, I'm not comfortable with this idea. My email confirmation also shows the discounted rate. I have received and activated my phones but when I checked online and called, they said they don't see any employer discount. There is a 30 day cancellation period and I don't want to wait until my first statement that shows the discount not being applied and not being able to discontinue service without paying the early termination fee. The phones are not worth the ETF unlike the T-Mobile Touch Pro II. Keep in mind that I have 4 lines at $135/mo so in a two year period, that is a $840 difference with and without the discount.

Just an update for anyone still looking at thread. Able to view bill today, and 20% off is indeed applied to my account for monthly bill. The credit union discount may be better though especially if you wait until Friday to look at Wirefly for the $79 Moment.

hakujin41, why did you red me? I just checked my online bill and it DID NOT work for me. My bill is actually over $900. Not only do I not get the discount but all the pricing for my phones are incorrect. I just don't understand it. I will have to cancel the order.
