I went to WalMart in Towson, MD last night and saw that they were selling a Nikon D40 with lens in the box for 20% off $450.99. The employee said that it was a display model so, of course, this is YMMV. But if youre in the market for a nice DSLR, there may be some at your local WalMart that are worth checking out.
