Thanks for the heads up, looks like safeway will get my business this week!

I wonder if it has to be safeway or this applies to any safeway company like Pavilions and Vons.

I just found more info on this blog and it said this: "NOTE: safeway deals are also applicable to their partner stores: Dominicks, Genuardis, Vons, Pavilions, Tom Thumb, Randalls, and Carrs. However, I base my write-up on the ad I receive in the Mid-Atlantic. Your prices and coupons may differ in your region of the country."

Do you have to spend the $50 at safeway in ONE purchase?

Or can you make several purchases at safeway in the specified time period that add up to $50?

The signs in my local store say $50 on 1 purchase.

The Kohl's "gift cards" print up at the end of each transaction, so I'm pretty sure its per transaction. Also, be careful of your totals. I bought $195 worth of groceries, which ended up giving me $30 in kolhs rewards -- if I was paying more attention I would have topped it up with $5.00 more stuff.
