The shipping is around $6 for one I think but if you get both you get a discount. Perfect combo for the upcoming holidays. Seems like everything needs batteries these days so I like to stock up on rechargeable batteries. The charger looks really neat too. Charges all kinds of batteries.

Highly unlikely. Even the Sony cycleEnergy switched to Chinese Hybrids; Duracell does the same. MIJ hybrids that are not Eneloops branded are much harder to find now. Definitely not 8/$10 imho.
