This is a kit that comes with 2 unit. that does auto pairing. dedicated bandwidth and no setup.

The Innoband ConneXt features widely adopted 802.11g technology and enables Internet ready devices such as TV and Set-top-box quick access to content with zero setup. It came preconfigured with wireless security and Mac address pairing for rock solid wireless security. There are two available modes: relay and direct. The relay mode was designed to allow any Internet ready device with an Ethernet port to gain access to the Internet seamlessly. Simply connect one 200W-A1 to the back of a router and the other 200W-A1 to the back of the Internet ready device. Connection is established within a few seconds and ready for content. The direct mode was designed to connect two game consoles wirelessly with zero setup. This allows buddies to bring game consoles over for local or LAN game playing. The unit came with three LEDs (Power, Ethernet and Wireless) that show the current state of the device in one quick glance. There is no need to fumble through the manual just to understand what the device is doing. The Innoband ConneXt 200W-A1 is also compatible with Internet ready game console, Blu-ray player or TV gadgets (InfoLink(TM), MediaSmart TV, VIERA® Cast, NetCast(TM), ..., etc.) with an Ethernet port.

For the tech savy, you can get the Netgear Wireless Bridge (WNHDE111) at Amazon for $55.

What a rip-off. You can use D-Link dpr-1260 as a WIFI receiver.

I don't think this product was designed for the techie. Most people are non-techie. Non-techie people don't know what security key to use or even what WEP is. It is a pair of "dongles" with wireless security preconfigured and Mac address paring right out of the box. Sure, a techie would be able to go into the web GUI and figure it out using other retail products. But nothing beats true PnP like this. I'll get one for my parents' new Samsung TV with Infolink support.

I am a techie, and will be ordering 10 of these at work tomorrow! I work for Xerox installing and training IT on how to use and manage our multifunction copiers. Xerox offers an Ethernet bridge, but just like any other bridge, you must connect it DIRECTLY to a PC that you have configured for the setup, config the bridge, then re config your PC back to the way it was. That is a fairly long and a annoying process. The other problem is customers have issues when "Tom in accounting" is downloading the latest 4.5GB movie from the swarm they think there is a problem with Xerox. This device is Plug and Play, and it is its own wireless network, not shared bandwidth. Great find OP. thank you=:-'>

From the Innoband site:

The Innoband ConneXt 200W-A1can be used to bridge any Ethernet device in your home or office via the dedicated 802.11b/g technology. With this technology, any Ethernet device in your home or office will have speed of up to 54 Mbps without the need to spend excessive time and money installing expensive Ethernet cables. It is pre-configured by default using encryption and IEEE802.1x which ensures a high level of security to protect users' data and privacy. You can experience high speed web surfing, files downloading, online/LAN/head-to-head game playing, and video conferencing and streaming high definition multimedia materials without new wires.

The Innoband ConneXt 200W-A1 can be plugged into an Ethernet port of a router to connect a remotely located computer, game console or printer (that has an Ethernet port) to allow fast and simple data sharing. It can also be plugged directly into a cable or DSL modem that allows instant internet access to your TV, IPTV Set-top box, game console or computer. The Innoband ConneXt 200W-A1 is a one-to-one dedicated device. No other device can share its bandwidth and cause disruption of service.

o Ready to go right out of the box
o Auto pairing
o High security and encryption preconfigured
o No new wiring
o Dedicated WiFi bandwidth not shared

ganjagadget, if you are "techie" enough, it should not be hard to configure a dedicated wireless network just for the printers using other brand.

False advertising much? There are only so many WiFi channels, so if something else is using that channel, it's sharing the channel bandwidth, even though it's not logically connected to the same wireless LAN.

Forgive me for not really understandinging what you mean. What you mean is that there can be more than 1 device attach to the AP so therefore the bandwidth is shared? I had thought since its sold in pair they can only work in pair and not able to allow other device on the same AP?
