Speaking from experience (unfortunately) This a blood thinner injection.
Hopefully you will never need to use it.
If so it costs about $1,000 for 10 shots and you need to use twice a day. On the bright side I had insurance. I don't wish this medicine on anyone, two shots a day in the stomach. Jordan

I've had to take it a number of times. I have about 170 injectors in my closet. If you're hypercoagulable, like I am an, it's a lifesaver.
This is the latest serious medical condition!
I had a good medical plan, so the original 180 shots (90 days worth) only cost me $65.
If I had to buy it at the Drugstore, it would have cost me thousands and thousands.
You might need it someday....there are killer clots all around...just waiting to form (after your next long plane ride, or leg surgery, or from sitting at the desk too long)...and ready to do you in.
Don't worry, though....you only have to take the lovenox (low molecular weight heparin) until you're up to the therapeutic level of coumadin (warfarin), a rat poison. Now that's some fun. Just don't fall on your head!
